Oregon City Wrestling Club was rejuvenated in 1997. Since then we have worked with many youth to become better people and help them in their wrestling endeavor. The wrestling club has had athletes from the age of 4 to 18 work out in the room. Our club has many benefits for the body physically, mentally, and emotionally. Physically they learn the development of their body, working of muscles, flexibility, endurance, self-control and how to compete. Mentally they learn to interact with their peers, self-confidence, self-discipline, respect, sportsmanship and self-esteem. Emotionally they learn to give and believe in themselves. We compete at local and state-wide tournaments. We work closely with the Oregon City High School coaches to ensure that our program will prepare young athletes for success in the high school program.
